Despite the weather on Saturday, we had an incredible day at Highcliffe Castle for Helen and Andy’s gorgeous wedding.
Helen got in touch with us at the start of the year when she realised her wedding was now ‘this year’ and, both being very busy professionals and not living locally, she felt she needed some help organising some of her key suppliers and styling for the day.
We worked with them both to create an understated elegant look that complemented the beautiful surroundings of the Castle but also reflected their fun and out going personalities.
We added a touch of something special to the already stunning Wintergarden with the The White Chair Company‘s gloss white and ivory, Cheltenham chairs, beautiful dressed with white chiffon sashes from Fundoo Weddings and Events. Arcade Flowerscreated a stunning display of delicate, seasonal flowers and candles to line the aisle and finish the look.
This look was carried through to the State Dining Room where Helen and Andy dined on a delicious, 3 course feast from Merlins Catering. Cakes by Ana created a stunning 3 tier, Italian buttercream iced cake covered with with fresh flowers and beautiful, personalised, shamrock biscuit favours, which we added place card tags to.
After the wedding breakfast the guests celebrated in the fabulous State Drawing Room, which had been transformed with helped of Castle Marquees who provided beautiful (and perfectly ironed!) ivory drapes, uplighters and a black and white dance floor and The White Chair Company’s low level, white leather Chesterfield coffee table and cubes. Martin Starke created a great atmosphere and kept the dance floor full all night.
Thanks to Peppermint Love Photography for braving the rain to capture all the beautiful, family-filled moments of the day. We can’t wait to see some of your gorgeous pictures.
