Jenna & Steve

Jenna and Steve both wanted to be heavily involved in the planning process but had felt whilst planning their wedding that they had lost some of the fun with it. However after our first consultation they later emailed to say thank you as they felt we had put the fun back into planning their wedding and made them really excited again. Due to wanting to be heavily involved in planning their wedding, Jenna and Steve at first instructed us for our final month package, however after our first meeting they decided to upgrade this to a final three month basis as they recognised the value in us recommending suppliers and then liaising with them so that they didn’t get overloaded and could enjoy the build up to their wedding with as little stress as possible.
We loved working on the styling of this wedding as although Jenna and Steve had a vision, they were not clear how to realise it so they handed control over to us! The brief was traditional Christmas with nothing too uniform – more like the feel of a Medieval dinner with a party. We hired huge candelabras to compliment the height of the castle and covered the tables in holly, ivy and mistletoe along with cinnamon sticks, red apples, dried oranges, pine cones and grapes. We also covered the tables and Castle top to bottom with chunky church candles of different sizes to make a magical and atmospheric setting.
The day ran very smoothly with everyone having a great time and we loved every minute of planning and co-ordinating this wedding- even redecorating the 19ft Christmas tree in the Castle!
Thank you to Columbia Photography for these gorgeous images, it was a pleasure to work with you again.
