We thoroughly enjoyed working with Laura and Pete to help plan their wedding day. We provided a full plan service for the couple in the year leading up to their special day to pull together a fantastic venue and marquee wedding.Right from the beginning there was a strong connect between the Bellissimo team and Laura and Pete – not only was Melanie an ex lawyer and so understand their demanding lifestyles, but Nicolle grew up in the village of Plush and so we were able to provide local knowledge and personal connections with the venue which was invaluable as the couple were based out of the area in Bristol.
After a very wet and early start for the team the day blossomed into a beautiful summers day perfectly captured by the very talented Big Bouquet Photography, so talented in fact that they also designed and printed all the stationery for Laura and Pete. Both were very into their literature, hence the venue choice of Plush Manor as Plush which is in the Thomas Hardy Country, and this shared love of poetry and the English language was carried through into the stationary as you can see below.
For the guests the day began at 1.00pm with the ceremony taking place within the lovely Folly. True to their Scottish routes Laura walked down the aisle to the sound of bagpipes and she looked truly stunning. The rest of the day flowed seamless with the Bellissimo team working behind to scenes throughout, a delicious spread was produced for all by caterers FishFace led by head Chef Matt Cook, before the merriments truly began with ceilidh dancing.
