Roy and Pieter came to us around 18 months before their wedding day. We worked with them on a full planning basis including helping them source their venue. They were a couple who knew what they wanted but weren’t entirely sure how to execute it. We showed them the Greenhouse Hotel, a gorgeous eco friendly boutique hotel in Bournemouth which they absolutely loved and quickly booked.
From this came the rest of the vision for their wedding- city chic. Roy and Pieter love cocktails, art deco, jazz and getting dressed up! We helped them find their perfect bespoke suits, design their stationery and source a fantastic jazz band, as well as matching a photographer to their needs and personality and give them advice on the timings of the day. The food was also a very important aspect of the day for them so we liaised with the hotel to create the perfect menu for them and arrange tastings. Roy and Pieter had a relaxed but formal day which happened to also be a gorgeously sunny day so all their guests could enjoy lots of time outside on the lawn. There was an hours break between the day and the evening and guests were then asked to change into Black Tie for the evening. A cocktail hour got the evening into full swing then everyone danced the night away to the Jazz Cannons, a Jazz band who got everyone on the dance floor! The guests were also treated to a dessert table in the evening which we designed and put together for Roy and Pieter as they didn’t want a traditional wedding cake. Roy and Pieter were such fun to work with who really wanted to spoil their guests and had some really special touches in their day.
Thank you to Angela Ward-Brown Photography for these lovely images.
