Who is this event for?

Women! Women already in business or thinking about embarking on their own business. Women looking to join together to celebrate their success or to meet new faces and make new connections. Come along to spend a fun and uplifting day with like-minded women. Share and hear stories of other womens’ experiences in their business life and take away some invaluable information for you to carry forward.

What will I get out of it?

New connections, learning by working on your business rather than "in it" for the day. Have a fun and uplifting time and help us to celebrate the success of women in business – all centred around International Womens Day 2025! Take away some inspiring tips from experienced women in business. All ladies attending will also receive 2 fully edited headshot images taken by personal branding expert and photographer, Anneli Marinovich. Have fun having these taken and Anneli will edit and send to you after the event. Pass the costs to your Accountant or Book keeper as a business expense too!

Where is the event taking place?

We are lucky enough to be hosting in the most beautiful setting. Came House is a country Estate set on the outskirts of Dorchester and is easily accessible from Bournemouth, Poole, Dorchester and Weymouth. There is plenty of free parking for the event. We are grateful to Came for allowing us to host in this beautiful setting. The main parts of the day will be using the historic Drawing Room and Saloon and the headshots will be taken either outside if the weather is kind or inside the beautiful glass domed Conservatory.  We encourage ladies to bring along small props relevant to their business if you would like these included in your headshots. 

Who is this event hosted by?

Melanie Egan, Owner & Founder of Bellissimo Weddings. Melanie and her team have been established since 2008 and are a national award winning wedding planning business. Melanie herself had a huge career change in 2008 when she stepped away from a successful career in law to establish her own wedding and event planning business. Fast forward 17 years and she is hosting this event for women like her in business who want to get together and celebrate IWD 2025 and share stories of change, struggle and ultimate success! Melanie is encouraging women to invest in this event for the day to spend valuable time working on their business and not in it and take away some invaluable advice and experiences of others to take forward in their own businesses. 

What refreshments are available and included

We will be concentrating on wholesome and nutritious food throughout the day. There will be juices, tea and coffee and water on arrival together with healthy breakfast snacks. Lunch will be a wholesome buffet style lunch with plenty of dishes to choose from. There will be a slightly less healthy treat table for ladies to indulge in too if they wish! Pre-advised dietary requirements can be catered for.  Please email us any requirements by end of February. 

Can we accommodate pets and children?

We want this event to be a fully focused day for women attending in order to get the most out of the day so we do ask that you leave your little ones and furry pooches at home for this one!
